Dr. Trout is a board-certified General Surgeon and a member of the American Society of Bariatric physicians. Although he is a traditionally-trained, allopathic physician, he is interested in approaching medicine from a holistic perspective. He therefore believes that resolving weight problems requires addressing the whole patient – taking into account his or her emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being – in a supportive, caring environment.
